Hear from Illinois Fermentation and Agriculture Biomanufacturing Tech Hub (iFAB) members working to scale novel bioprocesses on what infrastructure is needed to bridge the “valley of death”. Radicle Corn Challenge
The Radicle Corn Challenge will invest $1.75M in startups from around the world that are developing new uses for corn and creating new, durable demand across emerging markets and value chains.
The competition features technologies that can convert corn, and corn-derived streams such as sugar, ethanol, protein, carbon dioxide, and other byproducts, into higher-value products including materials, chemicals, fuels, and other novel applications. Two winners of the Radicle Corn Challenge will be announced live on stage at Bio Innovations North America 2026, with the winners presenting their pioneering corn-based innovations.
